ICAN Family Resource Center

One cause that is particularly exciting for us is the ICAN Family Resource Center that is coming to Memorial Parkway. Mastrovito Hyundai has offered a multi-year gift of $100,000 to assist in the construction of the Children's Museum that will focus on taking a playful look at history through toys, sports, and entertainment. Specifically, our donation will sponsor the Let's Play Pond area in the Seasons Exhibit. Our owner, Frank Mastrovito, feels particularly tied to this area of the exhibit as a long-time hockey dad and former hockey player himself. By sponsoring a portion of the new construction, we're proud to be a part of the improvement and continued excellence of the Family Resource Center for years to come. We aim to build a legacy of giving through this and other organizations in the Greater Yorkville area, and with this contribution we know we're helping rebuild a sense of community after years of pandemic separation. Slated to open in late 2023, the new expansion of the Children's Museum will offer a new chance at connection for kids throughout Utica, Yorkville, and beyond. The goal is universal fun through hands-on educational experiences, and is a small part of the greater family-friendly atmosphere that is currently being constructed along Memorial Parkway. Nearby to the Utica Zoo, Valley View, and Parkway Rec Center, the Children's Museum helps add another outlet for our local children to find fulfillment and joy, no matter who they are.

Autism Awareness

Another cause that Mastrovito Hyundai is proud to champion is Autism Awareness via the Kelberman Center. In 2022, we've donated over $11,000 to support programs and services for both children and adults on the autism spectrum, along with their families. We held a month-long Autism Awareness fundraier in April, donating $50 for every vehicle purchased to the Kelberman Center and presenting the check in May. The Kelberman Center offer comprehensive programs for people on the autism spectrum in all phases of life. Whether it's children who need special attention to continue advancing their education to adults who need assistance with day-to-day activities and tasks, the Kelberman Center offers help to all those on the autism spectrum, regardless of age. Mastrovito Hyundai plans to continue their Autism Awareness giving event annually, and we hope to advance our support of the Kelberman Center even further as the years go by.

Why We Give Back

As a part of the Yorkville community, we know that our success doesn't come without the support of our friends and neighbors in Yorkville, Rome, New Hartford, and beyond. As a part of our thanks for all the support you've given us since taking over the dealership, we want to give back to causes that are both important to us and that hit close to home in the local community. We couldn't give such great support to The Children's Museum or the Kelberman Center without such great support from our local community, and we always want to ensure that this is a two-way relationship where we also give back to charities within the local area.
